This policy explains how the School App ("the App") collects, uses, and protects personal data. The App is a platform used by multiple schools to manage school activities (grades, attendance, agenda, notifications, and parent–teacher communication). Each school is responsible for its own users' data as the data controller, while the App provider acts as a data processor on its behalf. By using the App you agree to the practices described below.

1. Data We Collect

• Account data: username, name, and role (student, teacher, parent, admin, coordinator, IT admin).
• Academic data: grades, attendance, agenda/homework, notes, report cards, schedules, and subjects.
• Messages & notifications: parent–teacher conversations and in-app notifications/broadcasts.
• Media: photos and videos uploaded by users as agenda attachments or the school logo (via camera or gallery).
• Device data: push notification token (FCM token) used to deliver push notifications.

2. Children's Data

This App is intended for school use and may include data about minors (students). Student accounts and their data are managed by the responsible school and are collected and used only for legitimate educational purposes. We do not sell children's data or use it for advertising.

3. How We Use Data

• Provide the App's core functions (displaying grades, attendance, agenda, etc.).
• Send push notifications related to school activity.
• Enable parent–teacher communication.
• Authenticate and secure access based on user role.

4. Storage & Service Providers

Data is stored and processed using Google Firebase (Firebase Authentication, Cloud Firestore, Firebase Storage, and Firebase Cloud Messaging), which is subject to Google's privacy policy. We do not share your data with any other third party for marketing purposes.

5. Data Retention & Deletion

We retain data for as long as the account is used for school purposes. You may request deletion of your account and data by contacting your school's administration or the email below; we will delete it within a reasonable period unless retention is legally required.

6. Data Security

Data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS) and protected by Firebase security rules that restrict access by role and school. However, no electronic system can be guaranteed to be perfectly secure.

7. Permissions

• Internet: to connect to Firebase services.
• Notifications: to deliver school alerts.
• Camera & media: to upload photos/videos and save attachments (with your consent when requested).

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time and will post the updated version on this page with the revision date.
